Following the incidents during the third round return of the CAN 2013 qualifiers between Senegal and Ivory Coast, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has suspended the Léopold-Sédar-Senghor stadium in Senegal for one year. Additionally, the Senegalese Football Federation has been fined $100,000, with half of the amount to be paid within two months. The other half will be suspended if there are no further incidents involving Senegal’s national team, clubs, or supporters within a year. The sanctions allow Senegal to continue playing international matches, but not at the LSS stadium.
