CAF schedules Zamalek vs Black Bulls confederation cup clash for November 27
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially confirmed the date for Zamalek’s highly anticipated match against Mozambique’s Black Bulls in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
This clash is set to take place on Wednesday, November 27, at Cairo International Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 9 p.m. local time.
Zamalek, a leading force in African football, enters the competition in Group Four alongside Al-Masry of Port Said, Nigeria’s Enyimba, and the Mozambican champions, Black Bulls.
The White Knights secured their place in the group stage following a stellar season, which included claiming the Confederation Cup title in the last campaign by defeating Morocco’s RS Berkane in the final.
The Cairo giants will face the Black Bulls in a bid to establish a strong foothold in their group, as they aim to defend their title and extend their regional dominance.
Meanwhile, Zamalek is set to take on Smouha today at 5 p.m. at the Borg El Arab Military Stadium in Alexandria as part of the Nile League’s second round.
Under the guidance of Portuguese head coach José Gomez, the team will look to continue its positive start to the season.
Zamalek secured a 3-2 victory over National Bank in the first round, a win they hope to build on to reclaim the league title after a two-year drought.
As Zamalek prepares for a busy season ahead, fans are eager to see if the White Knights can maintain their winning momentum both in the domestic league and on the continental stage.
