CAF names Air Cote d’Ivoire as official carrier for 2023 Africa Cup of Nations
Air Cote d’Ivoire has been announced as the latest official sponsor for the CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Côte d’Ivoire 2023, as revealed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
In this role, the national airline of the host country will serve as the official carrier for the tournament, facilitating the transportation of teams, officials, and fans to various venues across Côte d’Ivoire.
With their extensive network and modern fleet, the airline is well-equipped to ensure a seamless travel experience for all involved.
Laurent Loukou, CEO of Air Cote d’Ivoire, expressed pride in the partnership and highlighted the airline’s adjustments to its fleet and flight schedule to meet the travel needs of the competition.
“We are happy and proud of this partnership with CAF towards organising a memorable TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations for African football fans and beyond. Subsequently, our fleet and flight schedule have been readjusted to meet the travel needs of the competition.”
The tournament is scheduled to take place from January 13 to February 11, 2024, in cities including Abidjan, Bouake, Korhogo, San Pedro, and Yamoussoukro.
