CAF Announces Prize Money for 2014 African Champions League
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled the prize money for clubs participating in the 2014 African Champions League, which kicks off this weekend.
The competition’s champion will receive a significant reward of $1,425,000, while the runner-up will be awarded $950,000.
The two semi-finalists will each receive $475,000, ensuring that teams making it to the final four are well-compensated for their efforts. Additionally, third-place finishers in the group stage will receive $475,000, while fourth-place finishers will secure $380,000.
The group stage of the prestigious tournament is set to begin this Friday, with clubs eager to battle it out for continental glory and the lucrative financial rewards that come with success.
