FUS Rabat faced discontent and desolation upon their arrival in Lubumbashi, DR Congo, on Tuesday. The reason for this frustration, as reported by Tout Puissant Mazembe’s website, is that the Moroccan team forgot its equipment during a transit.
The report states, “The Moroccan delegation noted that its luggage was missing (jackets, balls, training equipment, etc.) probably forgotten during a stopover in Casablanca, Dubai, or Nairobi.” This situation is likely to disrupt FUS’s preparation before their upcoming match against TP Mazembe in the second day of the group stage of the CAF Cup. In the first day, FUS Rabat drew against CA Bizertin, while TP Mazembe secured a draw in Algeria against Entente Sétif.
