While he didn’t set overly ambitious goals like winning the tournament, he stressed the importance of at least reaching the group stage to salvage their season.
Bentobal also highlighted the team’s resilience and determination to bounce back from setbacks, acknowledging that defeats are part of football, especially in cup competitions. He expressed confidence in the team’s ability to regroup and perform well in the upcoming continental fixtures.
Under the guidance of head coach Bernard Simondi, CS Constantine is preparing for their next Confederation Cup match in Monrovia. The club is prioritizing their continental campaign, with assistant coach Nabil Medjahed leading the second team in domestic competitions.
