Following the draw on Tuesday morning, Olympic Safi and Wydad AC have been paired in all-Moroccan affair in the quarterfinal of the Confederation Cup, while Egyptian outfit Al Masry takes on Algeria’s CR Belouizdad.
Safi secured a historic first-ever quarter-final qualification after placing second in Group A, while Wydad AC topped Group B with clinical efficiency.
Egyptian giants Zamalek SC will take on Congolese side AS Otoho, with DR Congo’s Maniema Union and Algeria’s USM Alger completing the quarterfinal pairings.
The winner of the quarterfinal clash between AS Maniema Union and USM Alger will battle it out with Olympique Club Safi and Wydad AC in the semifinal finals.
Besides, the winner of the clash between Al Masry and CR Belouizdad will take on the winner of the match between Otoho and Zamalek in the semifinal.
The quarter-final first legs are scheduled for 13–15 March 2026, with the return fixtures following a week later on 20–22 March.
With three Egyptian, two Algerian, and two Moroccan clubs in the mix, the 2025/26 season is poised for a dramatic North African finish.
