The breakthrough arrived in the 75th minute when Dabbagh produced a clinical finish, firing the ball into the net to restore Zamalek’s advantage and ultimately decide the contest.
Zamalek were forced to navigate a nervy finale with ten men after Nabil Emad, known as “Dunga”, was forced off injured having already exhausted all five substitutions. Despite the setback, the White Knights held firm to secure the win.
