Simba SC head coach Fadlu Davids has commended his players for reaching the finals of this season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
Having set up a final with RS Berkane, Simba SC are now preparing to play in their first ever final in the competition.
Ahead of the two-legged tie, Coach Fadlu Davids has cautioned his side against letting their guard down by celebrating the feat too much.
He has urged his team to hold on with the celebrations, insisting that he will only be happy once his teams lifts the trophy.
“We don’t celebrate too much. We celebrate up until a point. Because if you celebrate too much, then you’re happy with being in the final. I will be happy once we lift the trophy,” Simba SC coach Fadlu Davids said in his pre-match interview.
The first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final between RS Berkane and Simba SC will be played on Saturday, May 17.
The two teams are poised to fight for the ultimate prize at the end of the two legs.
