CAF Confederation Cup: Club Sportif Sfaxien and Al-Ahli Tripoli target group-stage places

The second-leg ties in the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup continue on Saturday, with several established clubs seeking to secure qualification for the group stage after closely contested first matches.

Club Sportif Sfaxien of Tunisia and Al-Ahli Tripoli of Libya will both play at home, aiming to use that advantage to settle their respective ties.

The pressure is also on AFAD Plateau of Cote d’Ivoire and Rwanda’s Rayon Sports, who must produce strong away performances to overturn the balance from the first legs.

The clubs that progress will join the competition’s 16-team group-stage line-up.
