Mozambique outfit Black Bulls Maputo demonstrated their supremacy with an emphatic victory over Nigerian giants Enyimba in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Putting on a stellar performance, Black Bulls cruised to a resounding 3-0 win at the Estádio Nacional do Zimpeto to secure maximum points in the thrilling clash on Saturday.
The home team opened the scoring in the 16th-minute mark through Rume Akporoh as they went to the halftime break with the advantage.
Black Bulls showed resilience and determination in the second half of the match, scoring two additional goals to secure victory over Enyimba.
Mozambique international Fidel De Sousa found the net in the 57th minute to double the advantage for the home team before Francis Ayuba cemented the win in the 64th-minute.
Black Bulls have now recorded one win, one draw and one defeat from the initial three games in their group. With four points, the Mozambique outfit find themselves in the third position of Group D.
They will hope to finish among the top two teams in their group to secure a place in the knockout stage of the Confederation Cup.
Meanwhile, Enyimba sit bottom of Group D, accumulating just a point after three matches so far.
