Technical Director of Black Bulls Maputo Helder Dorat is aiming to make history when his outfit take on Zamalek in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Zamalek, who are the defending champions of the competition will play host to the Mozambique champions in the first round of the group stage of CAF’s second elite club competition.
Speaking to Time Sport channel, Helder Dorat expressed optimism about his outfit upsetting Zamalek on Wednesday at the Cairo International Stadium.
“Zamalek is a big team with experience in tournaments, and I acknowledge the difference in level between us, so it will be a difficult match.”
“We came to Cairo to win, and we believe that we can achieve it and outperform Zamalek.”
“Zamalek has great players, but despite the different levels, we will try not to play for a draw, because if we think about it, we will lose.”
“We are the champions of Mozambique and we always play good football and attack our opponents… We want to write history and achieve a great achievement against a big team at Cairo Stadium”
