CAF Confederation Cup: AFAD and Tusker advance to second round

AFAD secured their place in the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup after drawing 2-2 away to East End Lions on Saturday, 12 September 2026.

The Ivorian side progressed after the result followed a 1-1 draw in the first leg. Tusker also moved through, beating Al Ahli Wad Madani 1-0 in the second leg.

Kitara FC recorded a 2-0 victory over Mogadishu City, with goals from Jimmy Kalema and Tumwesige Frank Zaga. The result completed a 4-1 aggregate success for the Ugandan club.

Rayon Sports advanced after playing out a goalless draw with Panthere Sportive. The Rwandan side had earned a 1-1 draw in the opening match and went through on the overall score.

Black Bulls were held to a 0-0 draw by Atomic Ngome, but the Mozambican club progressed after carrying an advantage from the first leg.
