A Zambian referee has been selected to take charge of the key African Champions League group stage encounter between FAR Rabat and JS Kabylie.
The Royal Army side will welcome their Algerian opponents in the fourth round of the group stage, with both teams eager to strengthen their position in a tightly contested group.
The Confederation of African Football has confirmed that the match will be handled by an all Zambian officiating crew, led by centre referee Hilary Hambaba.
He will be supported by Diana Chikotishka as the first assistant referee and Thomas Kayela as the second assistant, while Chula Chansa has been named as the fourth official.
FAR Rabat will be aiming to secure their first victory under the guidance of Portuguese head coach Alexander Santos, having struggled to convert performances into wins so far in the competition.
The two sides last met on Saturday evening at the Hussein Ait Ahmed Stadium, where they played out a goalless draw in the third round of group stage fixtures.
In the current standings, JS Kabylie sit third in the group with two points, just ahead of FAR Rabat, who are also on two points in fourth place.
Egyptian giants Al Ahly lead the group with seven points, while Tanzania’s Young Africans occupy second place with four points, setting the stage for a decisive showdown in the upcoming fixture.
