**CAF Champions League Final: USM Alger Prepares for TP Mazembe Clash**
The **first leg of the CAF Champions League final** is set for **Saturday**, with **USM Alger hosting TP Mazembe**. The Algerian side is currently in **training camp** to fine-tune preparations ahead of the continental showdown.
However, **USMA faces two key absences**: right-back **Rabie Meftah** and Malagasy striker **Andréa**, both suspended for the match. Despite these setbacks, optimism remains high under **coach Miloud Hamdi**.
Hamdi emphasized his confidence in the squad:
*”When I took over USMA, I said the club has 25 starters. There are suspended and injured players, which I obviously regret, but I really value my squad. The 18 players who make up the matchday roster, and those in the starting eleven, will be warriors on the field.”*
On TP Mazembe, Hamdi added:
*”They have two feet, two hands, and a brain. We must be quicker with our brains to create chances and avoid conceding. The challenge affects both teams, but USMA is also a historic club, founded in 1937, and though we’ve missed reaching the final several times, I remain hopeful. Our team has a future too.”*
