CAF Champions League quarter-final draw scheduled for February 17

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that the draw for the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League will take place on February 17 in Qatar.

The much-anticipated draw will determine the matchups for the competition’s quarter-final stage, which is set to take place over two legs.

The first leg will be played on April 1-2, while the return fixtures are scheduled for April 8-9.

The teams that have qualified for the quarter-finals following the conclusion of the group stage are:

Group A:

  • Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia)
  • MC Alger (Algeria)

Group B:

  • AS FAR Rabat (Morocco)
  • Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa)

Group C:

  • Orlando Pirates (South Africa)
  • Al Ahly (Egypt)

Group D:

  • Espérance de Tunis (Tunisia)
  • Pyramids FC (Egypt)

These eight clubs will now await their respective opponents in the draw, as they look to continue their pursuit of Africa’s premier club competition title.

The exciting quarter-final clashes promise to deliver high-stakes football as some of the continent’s top teams compete for a place in the semi-finals.
