Al Ahly’s qualification outlook

Record champions Al Ahly are well placed to reach the knockout stage. The Egyptian giants need just four points from their remaining three group matches to seal qualification, regardless of other results.

Al Ahly will face Young Africans in the fourth round, followed by JS Kabylie in round five, before concluding the group stage against AS FAR Rabat.

Pyramids’ qualification outlook

Pyramids are in a similar position in Group A, with four points from their final three matches enough to guarantee a quarter-final spot.

Their remaining fixtures include a crucial clash with group leaders Renaissance Berkane, followed by Rivers United, before finishing against Power Dynamos.

Group C: the tightest race

Group C remains the most competitive, with just four points separating the top three sides. Leaders Mamelodi Sundowns and Al-Hilal, both on five points, will meet again in the fourth round, a fixture that could significantly shape the qualification picture.

Group D: Stade Malien in control

In Group D, Stade Malien appear closest to booking a place in the last eight. Two wins from their remaining three matches would be enough to secure qualification.

Espérance de Tunis, meanwhile, face a tougher task and are likely to need at least seven points from their final three fixtures to progress.

With half of the group stage still to be played, the standings across all four groups are expected to shift as the competition intensifies in the coming rounds.
