CAF Champions League: AS FAR to travel to Cairo with a private jet ahead of return leg against Pyramids

Moroccan giants AS FAR are set to travel to Cairo aboard a private jet ahead of their decisive CAF Champions League quarter-final clash against Pyramids FC.

The return leg is scheduled for Saturday at 7:00 pm at the Air Defense Stadium, with both sides still firmly in contention for a semi-final place.

According to reports, the Moroccan delegation will arrive in Cairo on Thursday to minimise travel fatigue and allow ample time for preparation.

The team has lined up two training sessions—one upon arrival and another on Friday—as they fine-tune their strategy for the high-stakes encounter.

The tie remains delicately poised following a 1-1 draw in the first leg, played at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat.

For the Egyptian side, a win or a goalless draw will be enough to secure progression.

AS FAR, meanwhile, must either claim victory or register a draw of 2-2 or higher to advance to the last four of Africa’s premier club competition.
