The quarter-final draw for both the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup will take place in Doha, Qatar, today, with African football legends overseeing the proceedings.
CAF has confirmed that the draw will be held in two sessions: the Confederation Cup draw at 17:00 local time (GMT+3), followed by the Champions League draw at 18:00.
The announcement was made via an official statement on the governing body’s website.
The event will be broadcast live on BeIN Sports MENA, BeIN Sports English, and CAF’s official YouTube channel (CAF TV), ensuring global access to the eagerly awaited fixtures.
Rabah Madjer among football icons conducting the draw
The draw will be conducted by former football stars, including Egypt’s Wael Gomaa, an Al Ahly legend; Algeria’s Rabah Madjer, a key figure in African football history; Zambia’s Rainford Kalaba, who overcame a serious road accident last year; and Ben Malango from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

According to CAF’s regulations, group winners from the tournament’s earlier stages (Pot 1) will be matched against the second-placed teams (Pot 2) in the quarter-finals.
Key dates for the knockout rounds
The first legs of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals will be played on April 1, with the return fixtures scheduled for April 8. Meanwhile, the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals will take place on April 2 and April 9.
