CAF CC: Ghanaian referee Yao Bless to officiate Coton Sport Benin vs. FC San Pedro clash
Top Ghanaian referee Selorm Yao Bless is set to officiate the first-leg of the CAF Confederation Cup clash between Coton Sport Benin and FC San Pedro.
The appointment made by CAF has been confirmed in a notice from the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Yao Bless will be assisted by Ghanaian compatriots Paul Kodzo Atimaka (Assistant I) and Emmanuel Dolagbanu (Assistant II) on the matchday.
Meanwhile, Daniel Nii Ayi Laryea will serve as the Fourth Official.
“Ghana’s Bless Yao Selorn has been appointed to officiate the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup clash between Coton Sport Benin and FC San Pedro.
“Referee Selorm will be assisted by Paul Kodzo Atimaka (Assistant I) and Emmanuel Dolagbanu (Assistant II), while Daniel Nii Ayi Laryea will serve as the Fourth Official,” a notice from the Ghana FA said on Tuesday.
It added, “This nomination demonstrates CAF’s faith in the Ghanaian refereeing cadre to guarantee the match is conducted fairly and smoothly.”
The upcoming match is scheduled to take place on October 25, 2025, in Lomé, Togo, with a match commissioner from Cameroon and a Referee Assessor from Nigeria set to oversee the match officials.
