Daniel Bravo, the former midfielder of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), believes that PSG, led by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, is on par with FC Barcelona and Real Madrid in terms of playing level in the UEFA Champions League. However, he acknowledges the superiority of Bayern Munich as the best European team.
In an interview with Le Parisien, Bravo expressed optimism about PSG’s performance in the Champions League, stating, “I have no doubt that Paris is at the level in the Champions League, I put them on the same level as Barcelona or Real. But, for me, Bayern remains above everyone.” He emphasized that PSG has shown a high level of play, easily handling matches with great intensity and adversity.
As PSG advances to the round of 16 in the Champions League, their performance in the next stage will provide a clearer assessment of their abilities against other top European teams. While acknowledging Bayern Munich’s supremacy, Bravo remains optimistic about PSG’s potential to be a strong contender in the Champions League, akin to Borussia Dortmund’s surprising run last season.
