Taye Taiwo has parted ways with Bursaspor, terminating his contract with the Turkish club. The former Nigerian international, who arrived at Bursaspor in July 2013, has now become a free agent, as reported by Les Echos.
Taiwo, a well-traveled left-back, has previously played for Marseille, AC Milan, and Dynamo Kyiv. However, his recent stints haven’t been as fruitful. This season, he had an unsuccessful trial with Legia Warsaw, which might have prompted his decision to leave Bursaspor.
With 54 international caps to his name, the 35-year-old is now available to sign with any club that might be interested in his services, marking the next step in his footballing journey. Given his pedigree, it wouldn’t be surprising if he gets offers from clubs looking for experience and leadership at the back.
