Newly promoted English Premier League club Burnley are set to secure the signing of Chadian forward Loum Tchaouna.
Sources have revealed that Burnley have reached an agreement with Italian side Lazio to proceed with the acquisition of the attacker for a fee of 14 million euros.
The transfer initially appeared uncertain, as Lazio’s new head coach, Maurizio Sarri, expressed interest in retaining Tchaouna. However, the Clarets have now moved swiftly to finalise the agreement.
Tchaouna, who has expressed a strong desire to play in England, is reportedly enthusiastic about the move and has already agreed in principle to a five-year contract with Burnley.
The talented forward began his senior career at Stade Rennais in France before making a switch to Italy in 2023. After a stint with Salernitana, he joined Lazio last season, where he made 24 appearances and scored once during the campaign.
Burnley are hoping to bolster their squad with the signing of Loum Tchaouna. The 22-year-old has impressed in the last few seasons and is being backed to succeed in England.
