A talent detection program organized by Zambro Sport and IBH Sport concluded on Thursday, March 6, after three days of intense trials at the Burkinabe Football Federation grounds.
The event, which featured around 15 local teams, attracted the attention of several international football agents searching for emerging talent.
A showcase of rising stars
The scouting program culminated in a highly anticipated match between the standout performers and Burkina Faso’s U17 national team.
This final test allowed the young prospects to demonstrate their abilities against an already established squad, providing a valuable measure of their potential.
Zambro Traoré, head of Zambro Management, reflected on the success of the event, emphasizing the wealth of talent discovered.
We came with the goal of identifying new talents in Burkina Faso and creating opportunities for them abroad.
Over these three days, we found many promising players,” he said.
Pathway to international exposure
Traoré confirmed that some of the scouted players have already caught the interest of international clubs, and plans are underway to facilitate their transitions.
We have identified several players who have the potential to move abroad.
However, since multiple clubs are involved, we need to coordinate to ensure an organized and fair distribution,” he added.
While no specific names have been disclosed, the organizers are committed to overseeing the progression of these players and securing the best possible opportunities for their careers.
A boost for Burkinabe football
The scouting initiative represents a significant step forward for Burkina Faso’s footballing landscape.
By providing local players with exposure to international scouts and professional clubs, such programs play a crucial role in the country’s football development.
With continued efforts to nurture young talent and establish pathways to professional careers, Burkinabe football stands to benefit from a new generation of players ready to make their mark on the global stage.
