Burkinabé midfielder Bryan Dabo launches new venture for young talents
Bryan Dabo is preparing for a new chapter in his career after going without a club since June 2025, launching a venture aimed at supporting young players.
The 34-year-old midfielder has not formally announced his retirement from professional football, but his recent move signals a gradual shift away from playing and towards a different role within the sport.
Dabo has established his own company, “La Source Management”, through which he intends to guide emerging talents as they navigate the demands of professional football.
The initiative reflects his desire to remain involved in the game while using his experience to assist the next generation.
Having been trained in France and played across several European leagues, Dabo brings a wealth of experience to his new venture.
His career path has exposed him to different footballing environments, providing insights that he now aims to share with younger players seeking to establish themselves.
The transition highlights a growing trend among experienced footballers who look to remain connected to the sport beyond their playing years.
While Dabo has yet to confirm whether he will officially retire, his focus appears to be shifting towards mentorship and player development.
By creating “La Source Management”, he positions himself as a potential advisor for aspiring professionals, offering guidance based on first-hand knowledge of the challenges and expectations within elite football.
His initiative suggests an emphasis on helping players make informed decisions both on and off the pitch.
Although his playing future remains uncertain, Dabo’s latest move indicates a clear intention to build a role that extends beyond his time as an active footballer.
The experience he has accumulated over the years could prove valuable to young athletes aiming to follow a similar path.
For now, his attention appears to be on establishing this new project, marking a notable turning point in his career while maintaining a connection to the sport that has defined much of his professional life.
