Burkina Faso international Blati Toure has officially joined Libyan side Al-Ahli Tripoli, following his departure from Egyptian club Pyramids FC.
Pyramids FC took to X to bid farewell to the midfielder, posting: “Thank you, Platini, for these wonderful years.”
Al-Ahli Tripoli confirmed the signing on Sunday, welcoming Toure from the reigning CAF Champions League winners.
On their official Facebook page, the Libyan club highlighted the midfielder’s pedigree: “Coming from the continental champions, now wearing the colours of Libya’s champions and leaders.”
They also described Toure as “a gift from the president.”
During his time with Pyramids FC this season, Toure featured in 18 matches across all competitions, scoring once and registering three assists.
He leaves the Egyptian side having won multiple trophies, including the African Champions League, African Super Cup, and the Egyptian Cup.
