Cyrille Bayala has made his debut for Chinese club DL Kun’City, describing his first match as a successful start to a new chapter in his career.

The Burkina Faso international, also known as a Stallions player, expressed satisfaction with the team’s collective performance, which he said met expectations. “Overall, it went well.

We played a serious match and the objective was to start the season well… and that’s what happened,” he commented after the game.

Beyond adapting to the footballing demands, Bayala is also navigating a new socio-cultural environment in China.

The 29-year-old winger described the transition as a daily challenge. “Yes, you could call it a challenge, because every day is a new challenge.

On the field, I always try to give my best. The real challenge lies in the socio-cultural aspect. There are many new things for me, and I have to adapt to them,” he said.

Despite the adaptation phase, Bayala remains focused on his professional goals. He emphasised his commitment to playing regularly, performing consistently, and contributing to his team’s objectives.

“I want to continue competing, playing as many matches as possible, enjoying myself on the pitch while helping the club achieve its goals,” he added.
