After a hiatus of over a month, the Burkina Faso national football championship is set to resume on Friday with the sixth round of matches. The upcoming fixture will feature a clash between two Ouagadougou-based clubs, Etoile Filante and Rail Club Kadiogo.
However, the sixth round will proceed without ASFA-Yennenga and AS SONABEL. These two teams, which represent Burkina Faso in continental competitions, are currently engrossed in preparations and will have their matches rescheduled for a later date.
It’s worth noting that the championship was temporarily halted due to the African Nations Championship, during which Burkina Faso’s national team, the Stallions, also participated.
