Burkina Faso international Issoufou Dayo is expected to extend his contract with Moroccan club, Renaissance de Berkane.
Dayo, who joined the club in 2015 is nearing the expiration of his contract with Berkane, the former CAF Confederation Cup champions.
However, coach Moine Chaabani is reported to have succeeded in convincing the experienced defender to commit to the club.
RS Berkane are preparing for the CAF Champions League campaign next season, having emerged as champions for the first time in the Moroccan Professional League in his history.
They are currently on top of the league table with 60 points, 15 points ahead of closest rivals, FAR Rabat, after 25 matches.
The 33-year-old defender has made 26 appearances this season scoring 11 goals and providing 4 assists across competitions.
He has made 77 appearances for the Burkina Faso national team, scoring 8 goals since making his debut in July 2013.
