Burkina Faso international, Mohamed Konate was in action for Al Riyadh on Friday evening, helping his team to secure an important draw in the Saudi Pro League.
The forward started for his team and scored to earn a crucial point for the away side.
On the matchday, Mohamed Konate scored the first goal in the 24th minute after an impressive pass from Sekou Lega.
Unfortunately, the goal was chopped off after a review by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
Later in the final minutes of the first half, Mohamed Konate would not be denied a second time.
He scored with a cool finish to find the bottom right corner, to send Al Riyadh into the break with the lead.
Al Riyadh made it 2-0 in the 59th minute through a strike from Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah.
After a VAR review, that goal was also chopped off.
The hosts, Al Hilal kept believing and managed to score on the hour mark courtesy of a strike from Marcos Leonardo.
Despite the many chances created afterwards, neither side could score and had to settle for a 1-1 draw.
