It’s good news for Didier Ya Konan as he has returned to training with Hanover 96 after being sidelined since last October due to a minor injury. The Ivorian forward suffered an ankle injury during a match against Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga.
Unfortunately, this injury forced him to miss the crucial World Cup playoff match against Senegal on October 12. However, he underwent a successful operation immediately afterward.
Now aged 29, Ya Konan has appeared in six matches so far this season. With his return to training, he has the opportunity to make a case for inclusion in the World Cup squad if he can regain his form and contribute on the field.
