Bundesliga clubs monitor Mamadou Doumbia
Mamadou Doumbia is attracting growing interest from Bundesliga clubs after a solid season with Watford, with RB Leipzig, Hoffenheim and Hamburger SV all said to be watching him closely.
AS Monaco are also monitoring the 20-year-old striker, whose profile has clearly caught the eye ahead of the summer market.
Doumbia is under contract at Watford until 2029, but a move is not being ruled out as clubs continue to assess their attacking options. The France-born Mali international offers size, mobility and a left-footed presence that make him appealing for teams looking for a different kind of forward.
Last season, he featured in 33 Championship matches, scoring four goals and adding one assist, a return that suggests room for more but enough promise to keep bigger clubs interested. He has also already earned seven senior caps for Mali, scoring once, which adds valuable international experience to his résumé.
At 1.92 meters, Doumbia brings physical presence as well as a developing attacking touch. His market value is currently estimated at around €4 million, a figure that could rise if the race for his signature intensifies. For now, the situation remains open, but he has clearly entered the conversation for several ambitious clubs.
