Bulgarian outfit Botev Plovdiv secure signing of Nigerian forward Shola Adelani
Nigerian outfit Ikorodu City FC has confirmed the transfer of forward Shola Adelani to Bulgarian side, Botev Plovdiv.
The talented attacker joined Botev Plovdiv on a two-year deal, with Ikorodu City set to receive a sell-on clause of over 10% from any future transfer involving the player.
The move marks his first European adventure. He is expected to continue his development as he aim to attain greater heights of his career.

The talented striker made a name for himself in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) with Ikorodu City, impressing fans and scouts alike.
Adelani enjoyed a standout season in the NPFL, scoring 12 goals and providing 8 assists during Ikorodu City’s maiden campaign in Nigeria’s top flight.
His consistent performances on the pitch caught the attention of European clubs, leading to his move to the Bulgarian side.
