Bukayo Saka says neither he nor his Arsenal teammates are paying attention to outside criticism of the way the team plays, whether it comes from the media or social networks.

Speaking after the narrow 1-0 victory over Brighton, the winger made it clear the squad stays focused on their own standards and objectives.

“We don’t listen to that stuff,” Saka said when asked about comments on Arsenal’s style. “I don’t see it, I don’t read it. It is not beneficial in any way. We just want to continue going our way, winning.” For him, the only thing that matters is the result, not how people on the outside choose to judge the performance.

“People will say whatever they want to see, whether we play the most beautiful football or if we score from a set-piece, they will still talk,” he added.

With the season entering its decisive stage, Saka stressed that Arsenal’s priority is simple: “For us, we just want to win games, and we are now getting closer to the end of the season.”
