Bruno Metsu, the former coach of the Senegal national football team, who passed away on Tuesday, will be buried in the Muslim cemetery of Yoff in Dakar on Monday. A reception committee is preparing for the funeral, and according to Augustin Senghor, the president of the Senegalese football federation, the funeral will be commensurate with Metsu’s contributions to Senegalese sport. The body will be taken to the main hospital in Dakar for the funeral proceedings on Monday, and the entire nation, football community, and sports enthusiasts are invited to pay their respects. The U-20 national team and representatives from various football entities will participate, and the Senegalese government, led by President Macky Sall, is ensuring a national funeral for Metsu.
