Congolese international Brian Bayeye appears to be on the brink of leaving Torino during the upcoming winter transfer window as his struggle for game time continues.

The 24-year-old midfielder has been excluded from Torino’s plans since returning from a loan spell at Serie B side Ascoli, where he featured prominently last season.

Bayeye’s lack of involvement with the Torino squad has been stark.

He has not made a single appearance in the league or cup this season, being called up only once without seeing any action on the pitch.

This situation has reportedly left the player frustrated and seeking alternatives for his career.

According to sources close to Africafoot, Bayeye is in discussions to negotiate an amicable termination of his contract with Torino.

If successful, the player would be free to join a new club in January.

Among the potential suitors is Estoril Praia, a Portuguese side reportedly offering a three-and-a-half-year contract.

The midfielder’s absence from Torino’s lineup comes in sharp contrast to his time at Ascoli, where he made 19 league appearances.

Despite limited opportunities at Torino, Bayeye retains an estimated market value of €400,000, according to Transfermarkt.

At 24, he still has significant potential for growth and development in his career.

Bayeye’s exclusion from the Torino first team highlights a stark change in fortunes for the player, and a move elsewhere could provide the fresh start he needs to reignite his career.

With the possibility of joining Estoril Praia, Bayeye could find an environment better suited to his skills and ambitions.

Meanwhile, Torino is preparing for their 16th match of the Italian championship, set to face Empoli.

The team has struggled to find consistent form, and while Bayeye’s departure is unlikely to directly impact their plans, it underscores the ongoing adjustments within the club.

The upcoming weeks will be crucial for Bayeye as he seeks to secure a new chapter in his professional journey.

For now, his focus remains on leaving Torino and finding a club where he can make a meaningful contribution on the field.
