Brentford manager Thomas Frank has ended talks of attacker Yoane Wissa leaving the club in the January transfer window.
Reacting to transfer rumours linking the DR Congo talisman with a move to Nottingham Forest, the manager stressed that Wissa is not for sale.
The emphatic statement is expected to end all speculations as the forward will stay at Brentford at least until the end of the 2024/25 football season.
“It’s good with all these rumours, I love the transfer window.
“There’s a lot of rumours, for me again, he’s a Brentford player and in my opinion, Wissa is not for sale, he’s been our leading number nine, and he’s been fantastic. I cannot see why we should sell him,” Brentford manager Thomas Frank said.
This season, Wissa has been one of the best attackers in not just the Brentford team but in the English Premier League as well.
His value is expected to appreciate significantly next summer.
