Premier League outfit Brentford is optimistic about keeping Cameroon forward Bryan Mbeumo despite huge interest.
The 25-year-old attacker has been a subject of interest for several clubs in Europe due to his outstanding performance.
The Cameroon international, who has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool will see his current contract expire in the summer of 2026.
But Brentford manager Thomas Frank is confident his outfit can keep the enterprising attacker beyond his contract.
“Bryan Mbeumo was really good, and I was really pleased with that.
“For me, it shouldn’t be a problem to keep him.”
Mbeumo was on target on Wednesday when Brentford succumbed to a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League.
