Brazilian striker Alvaro de Oliveira offered to Betway Premiership clubs

Brazilian striker Alvaro de Oliveira is being presented to clubs in the Betway Premiership as he weighs up his next move after becoming a free agent.

The 25-year-old forward recently left Al Bataeh Club in the United Arab Emirates. His representatives are understood to be searching for opportunities in both South Africa and North Africa, with the transfer window in the PSL still open.

De Oliveira’s next destination has not been decided, but intermediaries involved in his search have reportedly begun contacting clubs in Mzansi’s top flight.

“Alvaro de Oliveira is a striker with an eye for goal and is hard-working. He is currently being offered to PSL clubs,” a source told the Siya crew.

“He is a free agent after recently parting ways with Al Bataeh. His representatives are looking at opportunities in South Africa as well as North Africa.”

The representatives working on De Oliveira’s behalf are understood to be the same intermediaries who helped Brazilian winger Victor Santoro complete his move to Motsepe Foundation Championship club Lerumo Lions.

De Oliveira, who is Brazilian by nationality, is also believed to possess a passport from an Arab country. That status could be an additional factor for clubs considering whether to pursue his availability, although no decision has yet been made about his future.

The striker’s representatives are continuing to sound out potential destinations while assessing interest from clubs in South Africa and North Africa. His current status means he is available without a transfer fee, following the end of his time with Al Bataeh.

Interest from Betway Premiership clubs has not been confirmed, and it remains unclear whether any side has made a formal approach for the forward. However, the continued availability of De Oliveira could give clubs an opportunity to strengthen their attacking options before the PSL window closes.
