Brahim Diaz returns to training for Real Madrid ahead of La Liga season finale

Real Madrid have received a timely boost with Brahim Diaz returning to full training ahead of their final La Liga fixture against Real Sociedad.

The Spanish-born attacker, who represents Morocco internationally, had been sidelined due to a thigh injury but is now in contention for the weekend clash.

Brahim’s comeback arrives at a crucial moment for manager Carlo Ancelotti, who has been managing a lengthy injury list that includes key defenders Antonio Rüdiger, David Alaba, Eder Militao, Dani Carvajal, and Ferland Mendy.

With Real Madrid having already wrapped up the La Liga title, Ancelotti will nonetheless be pleased to have more attacking depth restored to his squad.

The 24-year-old has played a valuable rotational role this season, often stepping up in critical moments during both domestic and European fixtures.

His return strengthens Madrid’s attacking options alongside the likes of Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, and Jude Bellingham, as the club shifts focus towards upcoming international duties, including the FIFA Club World Cup.

Raúl Asencio has also returned to training after resolving personal matters and recovering from muscle fatigue, adding further squad depth as the season draws to a close.

While Asencio’s involvement remains limited, Brahim’s availability will be more central to Ancelotti’s tactical plans as Madrid look to end their league campaign on a high and build momentum ahead of global competition.
