Brahim Diaz rejects exit talks and commits future to Real Madrid
Moroccan international Brahim Diaz has reportedly decided to remain at Real Madrid, shutting down speculation surrounding a possible departure during the current summer transfer window.
The attacking midfielder has attracted interest from several clubs, particularly in Italy, but appears determined to continue his journey with the Spanish giants.
Diaz Turns Down Return to Italy
According to Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Diaz has no intention of leaving Real Madrid despite receiving interest from clubs seeking to bring him back to Serie A.
The report indicates that the Moroccan star has made his position clear by prioritising his future at the Santiago Bernabeu over any potential move elsewhere.
Juventus Interest Falls Short
Juventus was among the clubs most strongly linked with Diaz in recent months.
According to Di Marzio, the Turin-based side made significant progress in its pursuit of the midfielder during the January transfer window and had even reached a preliminary agreement with the player.
However, the situation has since changed, with Diaz now fully focused on continuing his career at Real Madrid.
“Juventus had already taken significant steps last January to sign Diaz, and had even reached a preliminary agreement with him, but the player is now fully focused on staying with Real Madrid.”
Roma Also Monitoring Situation
The report further revealed that AS Roma recently explored the possibility of signing the Moroccan international.
The Italian club is said to have sought information regarding Diaz’s availability, particularly after securing qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
“In the last few hours, AS Roma also started requesting information about Diaz.”
He added: “The Italian team is wondering if the Moroccan player will agree to return to Italy, especially since the team has qualified for the Champions League.”
Despite the interest, there appears to be little indication that Diaz is considering an exit from Madrid.
Focus Turns to World Cup 2026
With his club future seemingly settled, Diaz is now preparing for a busy summer with the Moroccan national team.
The Real Madrid star is expected to play a key role for the Atlas Lions at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be staged in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
As Morocco looks to build on its historic achievements in recent tournaments, Diaz will be among the players expected to lead the country’s challenge on football’s biggest stage.
