Brahim Diaz: Galatasaray eye move for Real Madrid and Morocco winger
Brahim Diaz, the Morocco and Spain international currently at Real Madrid, is the subject of transfer interest from Turkish champions Galatasaray. The Super Lig side are exploring a deal for the 26-year-old right winger, who is under contract at the Bernabeu until 30 June 2027.
Galatasaray are monitoring Diazs situation with his market value currently assessed at around 35m, and see the Real Madrid No 21 as a potential high-profile attacking addition. Any move would require Real to sanction the departure of a player who has featured across LaLiga and the Champions League for the club and is still tied down for another season after this one.
Diaz rejoined Madrids first-team squad in 2023 after a successful loan spell at AC Milan and was part of the side that went on to win the 2023-24 Champions League and LaLiga title. He originally arrived in the Spanish capital from Manchester City in January 2019 for a fee of 17m.
Comfortable on either foot and primarily operating from the right, Diaz has accumulated more than 100 LaLiga appearances for Madrid, as well as significant experience in Serie A and European competition. At international level he is coming off a prominent role with Morocco at the 2026 World Cup, where he started every game and registered four assists in six matches.
With Galatasaray keen to strengthen ahead of their next Super Lig campaign, Diazs contract running to 2027 means Real Madrid are under no pressure to sell and remain in a strong position in any negotiations.
