Bradley Chikomo: Elgin City sign Aberdeen U18 striker on season-long loan

Elgin City have signed centre-forward Bradley Chikomo from Aberdeen U18 on a loan deal running until 31 May 2027. The 17-year-old moves to the League Two side after spending last season gaining senior experience in Scottish football.

Chikomo, who is eligible to represent both Scotland and Zimbabwe, arrives at Borough Briggs having already featured regularly at adult level. Across league and cup competitions, he has made 22 senior appearances, scoring two goals and registering 450 minutes of game time.

Most of that exposure came in the Highland League, where the forward played 17 times and found the net twice, averaging a goal roughly every two full matches. He also featured in the Challenge Cup and the Scottish FA Cup, adding knockout experience to his early career.

Chikomo progressed through Aberdeens youth system, stepping up from their youth ranks to the U18 side in July 2025. He then spent time on loan with Inverurie Locos during the 2025-26 season before returning to Aberdeens under-18s at the end of that campaign.

This latest move keeps Chikomo contracted to Aberdeen while giving him a full season in League Two, with the loan scheduled to end on 31 May 2027 when he is due to return to the Pittodrie clubs youth set-up.
