French-Togolese winger Bradley Barcola is on the brink of a moment he’s long imagined, playing in the UEFA Champions League final.
The 23-year-old winger, who joined Paris Saint-Germain just over a year ago, has gone from debuting at Lyon to now possibly starting in the biggest club match in European football.
His recent form has only strengthened his case. In PSG’s dominant 3-0 win over Reims in the French Cup final, Barcola scored twice and set up another, showing the kind of sharp attacking play that has become his trademark.
“Having the chance to play in a Champions League final is incredible for me,” Barcola shared in an interview with PSG’s media team.
“Just a year and a half ago, I was making my senior debut at Lyon. Being part of a Champions League final is exceptional – it’s always been my dream, and now it’s coming true. I’m thrilled,” he added.
This season, Barcola has delivered 9 goals and 12 assists, numbers that highlight his importance as PSG chase European glory.
