Bradley Barcola near PSG return for Liverpool clash

Bradley Barcola is close to making his comeback for Paris Saint-Germain and could be available for the Champions League quarter-final second leg away to Liverpool.

The French winger has been sidelined since 17 March with an ankle injury but is finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel.

According to L’Equipe, Barcola returned to full training with the PSG squad this week and is expected to be included in Luis Enrique’s group for the trip to Anfield on Tuesday. His recovery has progressed faster than the medical staff initially anticipated, with the sensations reported as positive as he ramps up his workload.

Having Barcola back would be a major boost for PSG ahead of such a high-pressure European night, adding extra pace, directness and unpredictability in the final third. With the tie to be decided in Liverpool, his potential return gives Enrique another attacking option from the start or off the bench as PSG look to finish the job and book their place in the Champions League semi-finals.
