AFC Bournemouth are reportedly prepared to consider offers for Antoine Semenyo, with Liverpool emerging as a potential suitor, according to Football Insider.
The Ghana striker has attracted significant attention from European clubs following his impressive performances this season. While Arsenal and Newcastle United have also been linked, Liverpool are believed to see Semenyo as a possible long-term successor to Mohamed Salah.
Speaking on Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that Bournemouth are unlikely to block a summer move should Semenyo decide to leave.
However, the Cherries are reluctant to sell during the January transfer window, prioritizing squad stability as the season progresses. Liverpool, in turn, are focusing on strengthening other areas of their squad this winter.
Semenyo has been a standout player under manager Andoni Iraola, contributing four goals and one assist in 12 appearances this season.
His strong form has also piqued the interest of Premier League rivals such as Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur.
After missing Bournemouth’s 3-2 loss to Brentford, Semenyo is expected to return to action when the team faces Tottenham Hotspur at the Vitality Stadium on Thursday.
