Botola Pro: FUS Rabat snatch draw against Olympique Safi
Olympic Safi were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw against visiting side FUS Rabat in the 20th round of the Moroccan Professional Championship on Monday.
On the matchday, the home side took the lead during the first half through Faraj Karmoun, who converted a penalty in the 28th minute to put Olympique Safi ahead.
In the second half, FUS Rabat responded strongly after the break as they pushed for an equaliser. Eventually, the team found the breakthrough in the 76th minute through striker Ayoub Moulaoua.
The result saw Olympique Safi move to 14 points in the league standings, leaving them in 14th position, while FUS Rabat climbed to 26 points to occupy eighth place.
After the tough league contest, the two teams are turning their focus to action in the 2025/26 Throne Cup next weekend.
Up next for OC Safi, the team will play against Dcheira on May 16. FUS Rabat, on the other hand, will lock horns with Rachad Bernoussi.
