Bosnian tactician Adnan Beganovic confirms talks with South African league clubs after TS Galaxy exit
Former TS Galaxy head coach Adnan Beganovic has revealed that he has held discussions with several Betway Premiership clubs following his departure from the Rockets earlier this year.
The Bosnian tactician parted ways with TS Galaxy in April after a disappointing run of results, despite guiding the club to the Nedbank Cup final during his spell in charge.
Beganovic has now confirmed that interest in his services remains strong within South African football, although he stopped short of naming the clubs involved or confirming any advanced negotiations.
“In football, speculation is part of the game,” Beganovic told iDiski Times.
“There have been some discussions with different clubs, but at the moment, there is nothing concrete to confirm.”
The experienced coach explained that his next move will depend on finding a stable and ambitious project capable of competing for major honours in the future.
“Right now, as I have said, I am interested in an honest and long-term project — a club that has the ambition to build everything around and within the team to compete for trophies,” he added.
Beganovic also spoke positively about his time in South Africa, praising the quality and competitiveness of the Premier Soccer League.
“What I can say is that I have great respect for the PSL — it is a competitive league with great potential, talented players, and passionate supporters.
“My experience in South Africa has been very positive, and I would certainly consider opportunities that align with my vision and ambitions.”
Since leaving TS Galaxy, speculation has continued to grow regarding Beganovic’s next destination, with several clubs believed to be assessing coaching changes ahead of the new Betway Premiership season.
His reputation remains intact after helping TS Galaxy reach the Nedbank Cup final, and his comments suggest he remains open to continuing his coaching journey in South African football.
