Borussia Dortmund are making a strong push to sign Bologna’s standout winger Dan Ndoye, stepping into the race as Napoli struggles to seal the deal.
The German giants are reportedly preparing a big-money offer for the Swiss star, who had a breakout season in Serie A with eight goals and four assists in 30 appearances.
Though Ndoye already has a verbal agreement with Napoli, talks between the Italian club and Bologna have stalled. Bologna want around €40 million to €45 million, while Napoli’s current proposal lags behind at €30 million to €35 million, including bonuses.
Dortmund’s interest could shake up the situation. The club is weighing Ndoye as a direct replacement for Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, who has drawn attention from Chelsea.
With time ticking and pressure mounting, Dortmund’s move could shift momentum in their favour. Ndoye’s sharp dribbling, pace, and attacking drive have caught the attention of top scouts in Europe, and Dortmund believe he fits perfectly into their attacking plans.
This could be one of the summer’s key battles if the deal goes the distance.
