Khazri Stays Positive Despite Bordeaux’s Defeat to Marseille
Despite Bordeaux’s 3-1 loss to Marseille last Sunday in Ligue 1, Wahbi Khazri is keeping his head up. The Tunisian midfielder chose to focus on the positives as the Girondins de Bordeaux prepare for their next clash against Lille.
“There were a lot of positives,” Khazri told Webgirondins.com. “Big matches are decided by small details. We made a positioning error for the second goal, and that cost us the match. But beyond that, there was the right mindset, good play, and real chances. We have to build on that for the future.”
Under Willy Sagnol, Bordeaux put in a respectable performance but fell short against a strong Marseille side. With the 15th matchday looming, Bordeaux will look to bounce back as they face LOSC Lille later this week at 1 p.m. UT.
